| My thanks to the Welsh KC for giving me the opportunity to judge this lovely breed with CC's for the first time. It is over 24 years since I did my first classes in the breed and despite some comments to the contrary, I believe it has improved somewhat over that time, most certainly in terms of presentation. However, I was a little disappointed in the dentition & rear movement of some which, despite the best efforts of one or two handlers, cannot be disguised by speed. Although not a numerically large entry, my thanks go to my exhibitors for showing their dogs in tip top condition and accepting my decisions with such good grace. | A very fair example of the breed overall. Very biddable and keen to please. Good shape to head and eye, although his bite could be a touch better. Good balance between front and rear with stong topline and well coupled. Sunstantial in bone and musculature throughout. Moved out well and true on good strong feet. | |

Deep, well sprung ribs allowing plenty of heartroom. Strong firm topline with muscled coupling. Moved straight and true without excessive effort. Well placed hocks and strong, tight feet. | |

| A touch longer cast than winner, this dog was substantial throughout with good skull shape and expression. Well developed in bone and musculature. Not quite the effortless action of winner when on the move but none the less a good honest example. | |

| Substantial gent of nearly three years, he presents and excellent overall outline. Typical shape to skull with powerful jaw and good dentition. Quite sufficient haw showing for me. Strong in neck and ideal balance between front and rear assemblies. Strong topline, well muscled coupling and good tailset and carriage. Moved out with ease and grace, covering the maximum ground with minimum effort, driving from well placed hocks and strong feet. Well prepared and presented. I liked him a lot. | |

Her never resting tail action just demonstrated a superb attitude, biddable temperament and wish to please her handler. Excellent in bone and musculature, she is balanced throughout and moved around the ring like a puppy. A pleasure to meet her. Best Veteran. | |
